DWB is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our Federal Tax ID # is 46-4111208. DWB has Platinum Transparency Status—the highest status available—with Guidestar (link).

Conservation Legacy

DWB can help you create a lasting conservation legacy through a donation of land, a conservation easement, or a portion of your estate. A conservation easement (CE) allows you to keep your land, while legally protecting its conservation value in perpetuity and gaining tax benefits (email us to inquire about a CE).

Making an estate gift to DWB is easy. You pay nothing now, and can change your mind at any time. Simply share this sentence with your attorney or financial planner: “I bequeath ____% of my estate or ($__________) to Delta Wind Birds, P.O. Box 1536, Oxford, MS 38655 (EIN #46-4111208).” You can also name DWB as a beneficiary of your life insurance policies, retirement plans, and bank or brokerage accounts.

Big Day for bird conservation

From April 21 to May 10 each year, birders around Mississippi will be raising funds for DWB’s bird conservation work by conducting "Big Days” in which they try to find as many bird species as possible within a 24-hour day. To learn how you can help, click the button below:
