Shorebird photography with Michael Sandoz, a DWB webinar

In this video webinar hosted by DWB board member Kristina Mitchell, we interviewed Michael Sandoz. Michael is a Mississippi Gulf Coast native, and a highly talented nature photographer who often focuses on shorebirds. We talked to Michael about how he got into birds and bird photography, how he approaches challenges in bird photography, what he is trying to achieve in his photos, and what types of equipment he uses. Throughout the conversation, we examined some of Michael’s best shorebird photos, hearing the stories behind them. There was a little bit of something for everyone in this conversation, from casual bird-lovers to aspiring or serious bird photographers. You can find examples of Michael’s beautiful photos on Instagram (@hozhophoto) and SmugMug (link).
